Hi Yall! Can anyone of you tell me! What is and how do you use an IRC http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif?? I would like to send a QSL card to Costa Rica and don't know what and how to IRC would be! Help I know that it is some sort of return postage.

International Reply Coupon. It's used for transferring funds to certain countries that don't allow foreign currency through the mail. Used to be everyone used them (formerly known as "green stamps")

What Eric didn't tell you is you buy IRCs at your local US Post Office.
Not all of them sell them, as I find out, but our little PO stocks them for me, now that I've asked. Our town has 350 people, so it's a small PO with a very helpful postmaster.

And yes, you can always send "green stamps" - a nice, crisp $1 bill usually does the trick. I say "nice, crisp" for a reason, you want to make sure your envelope is VERY THIN so when it gets to the the foreign country, bad people don't steal your cash right out of the envelope.
