A new club entitled the National Veterans Ham Radio Club has been established to recognize our amateur radio veterans, allow them to support each other, build an effective lobbying group and sponsor amateur radio events by and for veterans.
Such a group would make finding old friends and making new ones a bit easier. Stay in touch with veteran issues.
Find a long lost buddy! Participate in a veterans contest.
If you are interested in joining and making this endeavor a success, please join the group by pointing your internet browser to:

Additionally, there is a tentative HF schedule on 7.245 Mhz on Sunday, Feb 12th at 6 PM PST (9 PM EST). Please feel free to check in. Our Technician class friends are welcome to join the internet group.
This group makes no distinction regarding conflicts or periods of service. Currently, requirements for joining are holding a valid amateur radio license and having served honorably in the armed forces of the United States.
