Working like a dog? Have you guys ever seen a dog actually work? OK so occasionally you have firehouse dogs or drug sniffing pooches. But my one of my dogs is lazy, and the other lazier. They have a great life. Me? I work for a living. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Daily Schedule......
Let Dog out
Let Dog in
Let Dog out
Let Dog in
Let Dog out
Let Dog in
And so it goes.
Right now, my beagle, Ziggy is lying on the couch, his head propped up on a pillow, giving me that look....Quit typing so loud, I'm trying to snooze. Then he lets out a snore that shakes the house, and is louder than a chainsaw.
Work like a dog, yeah.....RIGHT !

NO lazy pooches here. My two play fight, fetch objects, and work on the agility playground most of the day. My day starts at 4:30AM and you better not dilly dally when the alarm clock goes off or you have two 70 pound dogs jumping on you to get you up. Around 9:30 PM or so its like someone threw a switch they both plunk down on the floor and start snooring. When I go to bed one sleeps at the door of the bedroom and the other sleeps out in the kitchen, sometime during the night they rotate positions. IF you want to see two dogs snap to attention just say the command "search" and get out the way.

LIX:
Ever heard of a doggie door?
We have been in this house for almost 34 years and I put in a doggie door the first year. Even the cats use it. It has been decades since we have had a cat litter box since our cats go outside to do their business. Then they come back in to supervise the household activities.
If your dog is big and you think that having a large doggie door is an invitation to burglars, think again. No one in his/her right mind is going to go through a large doggie door. After all, the dog that fits the door might just be waiting for them.
