It's not worth lying awake at nights worrying about this one! Look at it this way, our galaxy has only rotated about a dozen times since it formed - everything happens slowly out there! Eventually our galaxy and the Andromeda galaxy will collide, they are heading straight for one another, and make no mistake about it, the effects will be titanic! However the collision is scheduled to take place so far in the future that the Earth will probably already be a cinder by then.

Just think how many caskets THAT will call for!
