Greetings! Up for grabs is a Linksys 2.4GHz wireless networking system. I've used this system in my shack for a couple years to network my desktop and laptop computers to the internet wirelessly and it's worked great.

Here's what's included:
- Linksys BEFW11S4 Wireless-B Access Point Router with 4-Port Switch w/ original power cube and antennas.
- Linksys WMP11 Wireless-B PCI Adaptor w/ original antenna.
- NEW/UNUSED Linksys WPC11 Wireless-B Notebook Adaptor (barcode removed from box for rebate, otherwise still shrink-wrapped).

Why Wireless-B instead of Wireless-G?? Several reasons:
- Wireless-G is backwards compatible with Wireless-B, so you can use these cards on both systems.
- Wireless-B is very reliable and is actually preferred by wardrivers over Wireless-G (wardriving is the practice of driving around town looking for open wireless internet access points.)
- Wireless-B is fast. Whereas it's not as fast for computer-to-computer non-internet data transfer, Wireless-B is faster than a cable/DSL internet connection. (The internet connection, not the 802.11B equipment, is the bottleneck in the system.)

Also worth noting is that both the router and PCI card have detachable antennas. Adaptor cables and high-gain antennas as readily available on eBay and at other vendors to facilitate long-range wireless networking (i.e. between neighbors, etc).

These three items carry a value well over $100. I'm asking for $50 plus $10 towards shipping ($60 total) for this bundle of equipment. I'll accept payment via Money Order or PayPal. Once payment is received, these items will be double-boxed and promptly shipped and the FedEx Ground tracking number will be mailed to the buyer. Please check my eBay feedback (ab0re) and buy with confidence.

Thanks and 73,
