The American Archives Amateur Radio Club, KC8KGA, out of Plymouth, Mi., will be commemorating Charles A. Lindbergh's historic New York to Paris solo transatlantic flight this coming weekend, May 18-19 with a Special Event Station.

We will be transmitting from the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park, St. Louis, Mo., in conjunction with the museum's 75th Anniversary special exhibition of Lindbergh memorabilia (www.mohistory.com) #The exhibit features hundreds of artifacts, many on public view for the first time in decades, including Lindbergh's flight suit, medals and award, and personal letters.

Our radio stations will be set up beneath a sister-plane replica of Lindbergh's famous Spirit of St. Louis airplane (built by the same company which produced the original aircraft) which is suspended from the 45-foot-high ceiling of the museums's MacDermott Grand Hall.

Operation hours on both days will be 1200Z-2000Z and our target frequencies will be 7.270 and 14.270 MHz. #A special Certificate is planned , and we would like to invite local hams in the St. Louis area to stop by and say hello.

For Certificate, please QSL (including a large SASE) to Dave Langston, KB8RAP, % Maritz, 1000 Town Center, Suite 1200, Southfield, Mi. 48075.
