I have for trade a XC-RW700 Aiwa Dual-Tray CD Recorder/Duplicator 4x Component Audio Unit. Payed $400 for it in 2001. I also have a HP Pavillion x1919, 800 MHz Celeron, 40 GB HD, 256 MB Ram, Windows XP Pro. I also have a spare 15" Monitor. Now what I'm looking for right now is some HF Gear something on the lines of an Icom IC-725 or IC-720A. I have nothing below 2 meters right now, and I'd like to get back onto 10 meters while readying myself to upgrade from Tech Plus to General. If you can help me out, contact me @ 910-692-3449 here in Southern Pines, NC.
Here's a write up on the cd recorder:
AIWA XC-RW700 Announced
Posted by Vangie "Aurora" Beal: September 8th
Aiwa America Inc. has introduced a dual-tray audio CD recorder with 4X dubbing that allows a 60-minute CD to be copied in just 15 minutes. The new AIWA XC-RW700 is a full-featured component with one tray for CD playback and a second tray for both CD playback and recording. The unit is compatible with both CD-R and CD-RW discs. Among the unit's features is an automatic sample rate converter that allows recording from virtually any digital source that utilizes sampling rates from 32kHz to 96kHz. This is especially useful when recording from a DAT deck that uses the non-standard 48kHz sampling rate. The recorder also features 96kHz Multi-Bit Delta Sigma digital-to-analog converters and 128X oversampling. Other features include a headphone output with level control and a full-function remote control. The AIWA XC-RW700 measures 17" (W) X 3-1/2" (H) X 8-1/2"(D) and weighs 14 pounds. It will be available in September at a suggested retail price of $650.00.
