KC0UWS Brandon Duke owes me some items

I bought a radio from Brandon Duke KC0UWS that was sold to me as including the hand mic, desk mic and manual, and upon receipt I found they were not in the shipment. I was then informed that Branden had stolen some radios locally and this may be one of them.

Hi Gerald, I did receive the radio, just like in the post, and I am still waiting to be contacted. I am a victim as well don't forget, paying up front in good faith and not receiving all that I should have. No, no mics and no answer and to top it off I had to send the radio to the Boulder County Sheriffs Office as they called me and I was told that Brandon stole a TS-940SAT (that's what he sold me!) locally so now I am out the $700.00 I sent him plus the shipping cost to ship the radio to the Sheriffs office. I have e-mailed Brandon several times but he will not answer. I will be posting a complete description of what took place in the next couple of days. If Brandon were to at least answer me it might help matters somewhat (for him). Thanks, Adam Farber

Adam, you did the right thing. I know, getting stung for a wad of cash hurts, but so does having your late father's radio stolen. You truly are one of his victims.

Now, if I were you I'd call the Boulder County Sheriff's Dept. and press charges against Brandon. He stole your money, plain and simple. I very much doubt if just asking KC0UWS will do any good. Brandie is having too much fun riding around on his shinny black, yellow, and silver motor scooters.

And BTW, I blame a good part of this on QTH.com. There were tons of complaints by victims, warnings by myself and others, and responses from KC0UWS himself to convince anyone to stay FAR away from this kid. But QTH had to delete most of them. And even now Brandon has more stuff for sale on QTH.com. I don't get it?

Hey guys, thanks for the postings. Yes, I spoke to Scott at QTH and I will be posting there and should be no problem. Also, I have spoken to the Boulder County Sheriff in charge of this case a few times, I am just waiting for a lttle information from them before I decide what to do. Hey guys, I am just waiting to speak to the detective at the Boulder County Sheriffs Office, they are a little slow. They received the radio back on Wednesday Jan 25th that Brandon sold me, I sent it UPS to them. I will be posting shortly, just getting all the facts straight. Still of course no word from Brandon, I have e-mailed him many times even though he still continues to monitor and still post!! Adam Farber
