View Full Version : Belize Seafront Property
I have seafront property for sale in Belize. This is a proposed planned community that is starting construction on a combination residential/commercial marina.
Here's your chance to purchase seafront property to semi-retire on and play ham radio. #That's what I'm planning on doing. #A hotel/restaurant has already purchased property within the marina.
Preconstruction prices starting in high 80K's and up. Property is moving fast based on word of mouth alone.
I don't have any shiny brochures, but you can contact me for details.

Hello Tom,
I was wondering why a 60X200 foot lot 10 miles from Chetumal is bringing $40,000 when acreage within 2 to 5 miles of Chetumal only brings $1,000 an acre? Also I thought all Ocean front property could not be owned by non Mexicans. Seems to me the title must be held by a bank or some such thing.
I see you plan to retire there, but aren’t you also the agent for these lots.

Maybe Belize is not in Mexico?

Your correct. My mistake. Since Chetumal is the town Tom mentions as being only 10 miles away, I misunderstood what country the lots was actually in. I guess 8 miles adds several Hundred Thousand Dollars per acre to the price of land. And I have not checked, but there may not be any restrictions to ownership in Belize. There is in Mexico when it is within 50 miles of the coast.
Again he mentioned Chetamal on his commercial website and it is in Mexico. My brother has 40 acres there.

Ah yes, but did it come with the promise of a pool some day if the developers get around to it? Let’s see $40,000 per 60 foot by 200 foot, that’s 12,000 square feet, so lets see 43560 square feet per acre, divided by 12,000, equals 3.63, times $40,000, equals $145,200 per acre. Humm, nice profit. Especially if you get it for the going price of $200 to $5,000 per acre. I have to question why a commercial land sales site is posted here.
