Check out the new av. I found an image with this in it, and cropped it down to size.

I don't need it today. White Christmas? It was in the 60s today. Perfect t-shirt weather.

Finally froze here the first time in a few days. Now everything is slick and icy. Hopefully all that dang slush freezes on the lake and it will be easier to snowmobile.

Near Edwards Air Force Base in what they call the High Desert.
This time of year you never know what you will get. #A couple weeks we had in the teens warming up to the high 30's. #
We can get sunrise to high for the day changes of 40° F.
It all depends on the amount of, or lack of cloud cover overnight and the wind direction. In 1984 we received snowfall for 3 days in a row a couple weeks before Christmas, #and it was the better part of a week before I could get my car out to a main road. #Parts of the area had 3' to 4' and more in drifts.
It may be great this year, #but you can't count on it all the time.

Don't need warmth. WE NEED RAIN. An those poor ranchers and farmers in southern Oklahoma and Texas need rain REAL BAD. Ponds are drying up, lakes are way below normal, etc. #
If someone has some extra rain they don't need, send it to Texas and Oklahoma. Texas needs rain worse than we do.

The rainy season is coming. Always does, every spring, in Texas.
It was so warm here, my doctors office had the air conditioning on. 52 degrees on Christmas Eve. Rain and Fog (visibility less than 1/4 mile) on Christmas day...
Come January, we'll be needing that fire here tho...

Now, if you lived in certian counties in CA, you'd have to call a phone number and make sure fireplace fires are allowed today before lighting off your avatar http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

San Antonio hit 76° Christmas day and 80° is predicted for tomorrow. #You ain't wrong about that rain. #It's so dry down here everybody farts dust devils. #And the NWS forecast for early Spring is not encouraging:
