India's Outsourcing Boom Runs Into Trouble (http://abcnews.go.com/International/story?id=1428299)

When are these greedy CEO's going to get the message you can't replace the American worker!!!

Not only that, the demand has raised labor prices in India (from something like $125/month to $185/month). The Indians are now starting to outsource.

The 70's and 80's are starting to look pretty good.

Do you think the day will come when we will be the outsourcees instead of the outsourcers? #

"Hello, welcome to A####ta Computers, my name is Mike and I will be helping you today. #I must tell you first of all that you will be charged 900 Rupee for this call - do you agree to that?"

The same greed and lack of education is what's going on over there. It is not how great the American worker is, but moreover, the students don't think they have to acquire the complete job requirements. Eventually the same problems will befall the Chinese or other countries.

If there is a lesson here, American workers need to get proper education and learn that the customer should be treated with respect and the CEO's directives really do have a meaning. After all what good does it do to have a degree in a language that is not commonly used or in a minority culture?

But what'll happen when there are no longer American workers with jobs or Americans with any money to "consume" with?

It doesn't matter if the worker is American, Indian, Mexican, Chinese, African or any other origin.

What matters is quality of service for cost expended.

It will all work out in the end, for certain.

Just wait and see.
