I spent just over a month very slowly picking up code.. wish i had done this years ago...morse code is actually fun.. remember those 49MHz handhelds with code buttons on them. Now for you who thin i am simply trying to pass this to get a licence your wrong.. I don't need it. I have full HF priv;ages in canada with 250w.. if i want more i'll take the advanced...
Now the reason i take it is two reasons:
1: Since July morse code is no longer a wall but a challenge here http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
2. It's fun i found. Tried it and am having fun.. I read alot of signs now in dits and dahs funny but cool.
I have never made objection to the simple fact, morse code is so simple to send it can pucnch through most qrm/qrn
