I have been looking for these for so long! I finally found the clips. I get a kick out of it, since I played with a leapfrog whatever phonic thing once of someone elses, and had a good time making it say words for me. Now to hit ebay to look for one! Too bad the speak n spell only says letters.
Nice to see the Ham of STIHL working on a project. I wonder if it can say "STIHL"?

Fun with toys and a computer:
Add:
1: One of those keychain things that has a few buttons that go "f'in jerk" "F you" and assorted swear phrases.
2: One of those kids toys, where you pull the string and it has all the barnyard animals, that go like "The cow says mooooo".
3 A computer with sound editing software.
Need I say more?

Honestly, my hearing is so bad, that there was a phrase on those keychains that sounded to me like "Banana head!" until my ears got used to the pitch of the synthesized voice. I sometimes wonder if that is a common problem among people when it comes to such voices. #BTW, what the voice was really saying was "You're an [scatological outlet]!" #Fill in the bracket.

I used to have one of those "Cow goes Moo" things when I was little, only after pulling the string so many times it started saying "The cow goes Oink" Or "The bird goes Moo". http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

When my daughter entered junior high school we donated the two see and say devices she had used when she was younger to the preschool she had attended. The teachers were delighted to have them. A few days later one of the school safety directors brought the devices back to me and said there was a safety issue with them.
She couldn’t give me a detailed explanation of what the safety issue was just that the school could not use them.
I put them in the yard sale.
