I have had an HX240 U HT for probably 4 years now. I got it free. I got last night 7 more for free. They are great radios! A cheaper /\/\ alternative in their time, but they are good, solid, strong HT's. They are fairly cheap on Ebay and make a good radio. Keypad programmable, and some DOS software is floating around on the net for it. I use a Yaesu VX7r programming cable from RT systems to program mine. Originally bought the cable for my VX7r, but found out it also works as a CI-V calbe for Icoms and a programming calbe for the Standards.
