Hi guys...
# # # # # # Sorry to report another bad egg.I had a few receivers listed back in Feb. for sale or trade.Got an email from a guy Calling himself RAY BENTLEY in Rumney, Cardiff in Irland area....we agreed a swap...my Sangean 909 with an active antenna , and headphones ...for a used vx-r5.....I shipped the stuff to him Feb. 12...and was emailing him regularly until march 6th.On march 19 .....I was in touch with him up until the 6 of march....
At This point I have deleted some indirect accusations I made at a very nice person...and ..there were some blanks in information that were missing.So of course because there were parts left out...I assumed the worst.....my story continues......
On the 19 of march i receive a letter from a gentleman claiming he received a package..he wasn't expecting..and from me....but he also has received other packages ...from other hams...using his name and address,but stuff that he didn't buy..........someone ( unknown)has been playing a nasty trick by making deals through this site...having them shipped to this persons house and sending nothing back...not only causing aggrivation and expence for the receiving party...but also include hurting other innocent parties...... that being the hams.
This posting is to warn against Rog123....Who Calls himself Roy ® Bentley......Not George (G)
If anyone has gone through this situation , and you happen to read this, please post your dealings with Rog123...or if he used a different identity.....I Sincearly Apologize for any misinformation..or harm this caused any innocent parties...And I am sorry to the hams who fell victom to this trickery.........Mike va3mjw
