I posted a message for a legal amplifier last week in the QRZ forum "items wanted". At the same evening I got a response from Mark (KB4QLZ). He offered me an Ameritron AL-1500 for a very reasonable price. He send me pictures and I decided to buy the amp.
I paid him next day and he shipped it within 24 hours after he received the check. The amplifier arrived today . It came in 3 packages (case, tube and transformer) and it was very very very well packed. I have never seen something like this before. I assembled the amp today and I was not sure about the voltage. I called Mark and he was very nice on the phone and helped me right away.
We also had a lot of email communication during last week and he answered all my questions about the amp within less than 2 hours.
A+++++ for Mike. A great ham. I would buy from him anytime again.
