Why do you bump a thread everybody has ignored for the past 22½ hours?

He thrives off the attention-let him get the attention he needs!

Worth repeating. IMO. So I quoted you.

WA5KRP it is aparent that the thread is to deep for you and maybe some others. Therefore you don't know what to say that's not of a defensive and attacking nature.

Glad I saw this before we made our usual Friday night trip to the chinese restaurant. Hope Outback isn't too crowded. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

After reading that article I'll be sure and handle cat poop VERY carefully....Perhaps using a scooper would be a good idea? Washing my hands afterwards? Cat box liners?

Oh, wait, I don't have a cat. I have a dog. She goes outside.

Never mind.

I wonder if cats have to catch the mad virus from other cats??? My cat is an indoor only cat but I'm not sure that she is virus free...or that I am virus free. I'm not going to blame the cat virus on anyone (even my Cat) because I'm no paranoid skitzo...yet.

You have raised some very valid concerns W2ILP. I have 4 cats and a dog and trust me the litter smell is sometimes worse than a 5 day old cadaver. I use a mask and gloves when I have litter box duty. However the wife does most of the letter box clean up. My doc, has said that people can catch bactirial infections from the nasties that get into the air from cat litter boxes. So, if you start to cough or have problems breathing get to the doc (ye old saw bones) for an exam and get some antibotics into your system. But, most of all keep the litter boxes clean and let fresh air into the house on a regular basis and hopefully all will be well. Otherwise, well, you know where you could wind up. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

My cat only does his Business outside. I'v had cats since 8 years old and I'm OK but just a little mad because I have Red Hair. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Gee, mine drive me crazy when they come in to my bedroom at 6 in the morning on a Sunday and start whining for food...

You are lucky if all they do is whine. Our 2 'masters of the house' do a lot more then that and sometimes earlier then 6AM. The siamese has an especially big mouth and loud voice at that time of day. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

Mine are Turkish Vans... their meow isn't very loud, thankfully.

A well aimed pillow usually gives me more time to rest.

Both of our cats are pretty much "inside" cats. But, neither one would have any idea as to what a litter box is for. They both have gone outside through the "doggy door" since they were kittens.

You have to remember that the cat was a powerful symbol in the ancient Egyptian ritual of death. Then remember what KWW does for a living.

So if you have a cat does that make you a cataholic?

The report is cat-a-tonoic. Try to keep from gettin a cat-o-lick. Watch out for Ted Nugent and his Cat Scatch Fever from the kitty next door. Don't watch CBS (Cat Box S**T) News either.
