Since I've been posting on QRZ.com, I've noticed many of my fellow brothers in radio who can't spell a word as simple as pee-nut. #http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif Well, the LJM man is here to rescue you from this horrible fate! Please go to the link below and download WORDWEB. #It keeps a little icon in your taskbar for reference in those hard to spell words, like ain't (oh yeah, ain't ain't in the dictionary, so they say). #
Knouw yew know wy I speled sew gud.

I think Hollywood writers could use the same thing. On a recent TV movie, a sign was hanging from a fraterity house: "Never to hot to party!"

I use WordWeb all the time - great tool. Now if they only had GrammerWeb - I'd be set.

What I have found here on QRZ and other ham forums, is those who can't spell, don't want to, and prefer to yell about spelling cops if anyone tries to teach them. That is, I would guess, the same attitude they had in school, which is why school didn't 'take.'
So you are wasting your time. They are PROUD of their inabilities!
But, heck, hev fun aniwaa, mite fine sumone out ther who weshes he cud speil more gud.

Forget spelling. How about pronunciation? I have yet to see someone pronounce it correctly. They always leave of the last syllable.

Only thing funnier than a poorly spelled tirade is one written IN ALL CAPS. It's the equivalent of writing a letter in crayon.
