Funny, Dave and I just completed a deal, key work completed, with NO trouble what so ever. This was a high dollar deal, all parties did what they said they were going to do and that was that. As far as the KLM that he "scammed" you on, I bought it and it was junk. The SSB didnt work so it was an FM boat anchor and that is MY loss, sold as is is just that. It seems to me that when things are done in a timely manner, everyone is happy. Have a nice day. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

Since I already know that you and Dave are buddies , I'm not surprised you're running to his defense . 2nd , the KLM was working fine on all-modes cause I used it for the 2 meter contesting . I even contacted him when you guys were down in that "RARE" grid square in FN22 November Oscar at 1:00 a.m. in the morning on 144.220 on USB , so if something was wrong with it you might want to look in the direction of the man you bought it from , and I do have witness' to that ,besides , if you look in your own Log books from that trip you'll see it for yourself . So must be my KLM's Sideband was working .
and oh...this doesn't change the fact that I was still ripped off for the $80.00 by Dave !!
I don't have that money yet .... Have a Nice Day http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Again, half the story. Yes, by all means, it WAS working during the contest, no question about that. What you fail to tell us is that it took a trip to the floor after the fact. As far as looking to who had it before it went to the hamfest, I guess that would be you. YOU are the one who dropped it off to be taken to the hamfest the day OF the hamfest. It seems the one who is at greatest fault, makes the most noise and points the biggest finger to take the focus off themselves. Enough said...

Once again here you are defending KC2JZK over a matter that you had no envolvement in . You bought the radio AFTER the fact of the Deals between me and him , and that radio was NEVER dropped on the floor (sounds like a Dave story) . It not only worked on SSB during the Contest but also the night that I took it over to Dave . I Don't Care What You Say , it still doesn't change the fact that Dave ripped me off for the $80.00 that "YOU" handed to "HIM" for "MY" radio . When I finally receive the $80.00 (which is rightfully mine) that was paid for my Radio or get some sort of a phone call acknowledging that he's aware of the fact that he ripped me off and wants to set it right , then I will remove this post about him .... no matter what you say in his defense , he still has both the $80.00 and the FT-221R Yaesu . That antenna was merely a payment to me for selling various things for him online ... and that thing (Brand New) is not worth $80.00 , and it was used when I got it from him . By now , I know he's well aware of this post ... I haven't heard one word from him yet . He just chooses instead , to talk about me to the Ham community behind my back , spreading lies like I'm the one that ripped someone off . I guess I shouldn't expect any less from him . I'm sure this all happened because he didn't and still doesn't have the $80.00 to pay back , if he did I would have heard from him by now . KC2IOD (the Ham that took the radio that Sunday for Dave) needs to stop telling me that Ham Radio is an expensive hobby and that I don't belong in it if I can't afford the equipment (because I can) and turn his lecture towards Dave who buys his radios on consignment . I tried it "ONCE" because Dave made it sound like a good deal and look what happened to me from it (this was probably his intention from the beginning) . Until the Yaesu ... I bought all my stuff new with the Cash right up front . I just figured I'd try out that Payment Plan idea of Daves just once ... worst choice I ever made .
And KC2JZK does sell things here on QRZ so you guys might want to be careful .
