Has anyone been doing any experiments to try to get a dump of the programming in any of the electronicly programmed radios (Jupiter and other Ten Tecs, The Icoms, etc.)???
They have a RS-232 port and can be programmed, so it must be possible to reverse the flow. Imagine all the new software we could have with this info!

Now watch the trolls come out of the woodwork! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Your best bet would be trying to decompile the firmware downloads....But that might be a bit of a trick. You're probably better off writing software from scratch.
All the logic chips in the Jupiter are off the shelf (Which is why Ten Tec will always be my friend http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif ) You might also be able to get source code for Commander from DXlabs. It's worth a shot to just ask...
