I am hearing other stations but nothing from you. Propagation may just be way too long.

It's be much more simple if you'd just post your phone number. I'll call you after the evening news.

0238Z and there is 'essence' of CW. I *think* I can make out the 0 in your call.

WA5KRP - you are weak but readable in YV1. I tried calling you, but I guess you can't hear my weak signal.

DANG! International Broadcast is murdering your signal Walt. I didn't know it was you til I got back in here. Sorry, OM - just not readable.
How about 7.095 - I think it's clear down there.
My computer is not by my station so I have to run back and forth. I'll call down there and see if we do any better.

I hear you there, too. Still weak and some QSB but copyable. Hope we can make a QSO when conditions are a little better!
I guess it goes to show I need more than an indoor dipole to work 40m reliably.

Well Hell,
40 ain't workin' south from here OM.....QSB and some guy tuning up on your last tx pretty well did us in.
But from what little I heard, you are a smooth sender. Hate to ask, but what was my rst? I heard a 5 and 9 but it COULDN"T be 559. I sent you a 459 and that (NO offense) was generous. It's not you. The band is bad.
Hey - you gonna do the CQ WW SSB contest this weekend? You'll get clobbered!

I'll check out 7.138 if anyone will be there.

You were also 459, Danny, but the signal was up and down. We have rain and QRN in the area, too.
I'll try to work the SSB contest this weekend, but my stepson is coming in to visit and my wife decided I have to go to a wedding, so I'm not sure how much operating I'll get in. Last year I worked 229 QSO's on CQ WW SSB with the same rig and antennas and part time playing around. I don't usually get much into SSB contesting.
I will be on for the CQ WW CW, unless there's a major conflict. Last year I was in and out of the apartment, but managed 348 QSO's. On a decent CW contest weekend, I'll work around 600 - 700 QSO's if 15m is open.
Hope we can cross paths when the bands are a little better!

I am taking bets that Brandon will be changing his cell number tomorrow now that everyone knows his number!

That frequency won't work. KCØUWS is a Technician and can only work from 7.100 - 7.150 MHz
Must be a problem with the Pulverizer Gus.

DAAANG,
Didn't see this post until now. Sorry Gordo - I wasn't ignoring you. 7.138 was a mess at my QTH so Walt and I QSY'd to 7.095. SSDF..........could barely hear each other.
UWS,
I tried 7.138 and heard one VERY weak signal.......turned out to be W5ALT. I simply couldn't find an opening between 7.100 and 7.150. International broadcasts were covering it up. Let's hope for better band conditions next time so we can get in there with you!
