I'm sure most of you are familiar with Mac, W8ZNX, a frequent poster here.

You owe it to yourself to get a copy of the October 2005 CQ magazine and review some of Mac's craftsmanship on pages 56 thru 61. Art and science are combined beautifully.

Thanks for the tip. I don't often buy CQ, but if I know there is something of interest, I'll make it a point to pop into Barnes & Noble and grab a copy. I hope they didn't use Mac's format to write the article.

Just kidding, Mac, but I am curious, did you modify a Vic20 to work on the internet ?

73, and congrats on your publication ! Jim

The local B&N doesn't have Oct anymore. If anyone has it and is about to toss it, could ya mail it to me? Or at least Mac's article?

Thanks.

NICE JOB MAC. I enjoyed reading the article but didn't make the connection the first time. I built one back in the 60's, on and aluminum chassis it was my second novice transmitter. My first one burned up real fast.

Beautiful work Mac.
