On June 16th 2005 I responded to Joe Herreweyers ad “FS: a SA-2060A tuner”. #His ad said the tuner "worked perfectly". #Given I use a longwire antenna I immediately noticed that the tuner was defective. #I discovered that the ceramic wafer switch was damaged (longwire contact was fried!). #Joe’s response? “He did not use a longwire so he was unaware that the tuner was defective” #I reminded him that his ad did say "working perfectly". #Joe committed to pay for a new switch and #"do the right thing". After locating a direct replacement switch, I asked him to forward the funds for the switch but payment was never received. #He is no longer returning his calls or email! #He lives at 812 N.
