No. Oral Roberts would've gotten a phone call from the Almighty if it was.

Not sure, but if my memory serves correct the end will come like a thief in the night. No one, not even Pat, will know when this will happen.

Besides, didn't good old Pat want to snuff someone out a few months back? Hmm......... that reminds me, anyone see any old Tammy Fae Baker makeup removal kits on E-Bay?

It is truly sad that men like Pat Robertson, Oral Roberts and others who misuse the Bible to pad their pockets, and drive people away from God. Anyone who will take the time to search the Scriptures for themselves, will see that there is no such thing as a Tribulation, rapture, or The Antichrist. When Jesus returns, it will only be once, to judge the world (1 Thess. 4:13-18).

Robertson? Ain't dat de dude who used to redirect hurricanes from Virginia down to Mexico? "Let 'em kill somebody else," philosophy. Or was that Falwell?

Oh, yeah, Robertson is the one who said, "Nobody who isn't a Christian should be allowed to hold public office." Ay, ya, Khomeni, you no Christian? Stick 'em out hand, chop chop.

Robertson is the dude with the big mouth. Got all four feet in it, and the tongue still keeps wagging. Maybe he needs a good evening with Jessica Hahn? She did wonders for Jim Bakker.

Tammy Faye eyebrow remover? I got one, Power by Briggs and Stratton, 22 inch cut. Or the big industrial version, 42 inch cut, Craftsman 13 hp. (Yeah, it'll work on Jan Crouch, too, but you have to attach the pontoons to get through the tears.) Jan? She's the gal married to Paul "I did not have sex with that man" Crouch on TBN.

And I have noted not long back that the "Lord I have sinned (and Geez, it was grrreeeat! Done it agin, too)" Swaggert is back on TV slurping up the dough. Reminds me of the story of the nun who was raped. Confronted her attacker and said she was going to tell the Priest the man had raped her. Then added, "Twice, if you have time."

The one I enjoyed was one day years ago when Oral Roberts went to his tower of power or whatever it was, to broadcast live to his son, Richard, down in the studio, as he was doing something for money (what else?) like going to have a seance or something. And the Lord sent a big lightning boomer and knocked old Oral off the air, and Richard was running around trying the CYA method of saying "it's just a little thing, be right back, folks." (Probably muttering a whole bunch of things under his breath but glad they didn't go out on the air.) Guess the Lord didn't want old Oral sending those fibs back to Richard in the studio. Blacked 'em out, He did.

Yessiree, between the Religious Channels and the Wacky World of Monte Pylon, I can't figure out which is the most fun. But I bet I know which makes the most money!

These guys give a whole new meaning to the words "filthy lucre". These people are nothing but "hirelings", seem to be in it for the money only, and ignore the writings in 1st Peter. They kind of remind me of a movie I seen back in the early 80's with Marty Feldman and Gary Bucy titled "In God We Trust". It's a hilarious look at "TV Evangleism". Gary Bucy plays a TV preacher named "Armageddon T. Thunderbird" who prays to "G-O-D". The movie keeps you wondering why Gary Bucy's charactor doesn't address "G-O-D" as "God". Come to find out, "G-O-D" is nothing more than an accounting computer. Hmmm... makes you wonder, doesn't it?

It's the END! It's the END! We've got New Orleans a major city shut down. Our lifeline to Oil, Gasoline and Natural Gas is severely impaired - many important refineries shut down. New diseases cropping up West Nile, Hanta Virus, Bird Flu etc. Major earthquakes destroying large sections of the world. Floods in Europe, Japan, Asia and here in the Northeast (Over 6 inches of rain in 8 days with another 6 inches before Sunday).

Worst of all - the Yankees didn't make it to the series!! The most definite sign of ALL!

Hi enders,

"I love you Guys, like a christian "

Wasn't that a song by Madonna?

"Anyone who will take the time to search the Scriptures for themselves, will see that there is no such thing as a Tribulation, rapture, or The Antichrist."

I have and found three each references to the tribulation and the antichrist, sorry, no rapture, RESURECTION comes when the Lord's foot touches the Mount of Olives. BTW, it's amazing how many (including religious "teachers") who are clueless as to the translation of the Latin word "antichrist". So many are fooled into thinking it means "the one (who is) against Christ" when "anti" being "before" the term means "the one who comes before Christ (to deceive the whole world)". The Old Testament refers to him as "the wolf in sheep's clothing".

After reading this misinformation I see no reason to read past page one, it's post and split time again.

My understanding of scripture is that the second coming of Christ is what will happen with no warning. That starts the end and Christians are supposed to live as if it will happen at any time and be ready for it. Of course, most people don't live like this, though...

I wonder how many people sent all their money in after he made these comments? The Nigerian scams do work a certain percentage of the time, I am certain that his scams work a lot more often.

There are two major proofs that God has a sense of humor: 1) Watch how a pelican sets down on water. 2) Televangelists.

Even Jesus said he didn't know when the world would end. I can't figure out how today's preachers can know any better than He did.
