Harry goes by the eBay name of "Hooked-on-radio". He took me for $180 (including shipping) on a Hallicrafters SX-111 that I purchased from him on eBay. He has since scammed others. Seems like hes suddenly gone negative also, the past few transactions.
I hope everyone is reporting him to Ebay and going after him for all its worth.

I just typed his name into the Name Search here on QRZ....Bingo. It matched his home mailing address he sent me via email. That was his first & ONLY email that he sent me. I have since then sent him dozens of emails with no reply back from him.
I called him for the first time a few days ago........He was VERY nervous that I called him. I found his cell phone number by the ad he placed on eHam. Here it is: KI4BSS eHam ad (http://www.eham.net/classifieds/detail/101771)

EDIT: When I did call him & he confirmed that yes, I had the right person, he real quickly hung up. I then called him right back & his voice mail picked up. It said, "this is Harry......."
Seems he screwed up somewhere by sending the wrong merchandise to the wrong people looking at feedback left for him and what he left for others.
I bought a cheap meter to load my amp up with from him and had no problems with quality or delivery.
E-bay will probably do nothing as they got their cut.
I always use Pay-Pal and pay with a CC, at least you have some leeway by disputing the charges with the CC company for merchadise not received. Haven't had to do it yet though.

Harry is back on eBay & chances are he will be stealing from other amateurs again. The eBay name he is using now is: PLUMRZBUTT. Please watch out for this guy & do not bid on anything from PLUMRZBUTT.
Looks like he has revived an old eBay account because everyone knew what a scam his other eBay account was. When he burns all of his bridges with one account, he just goes to the next account. Nice guy, huh?

I just received an email from Harry, KI4BSS via his AOL PLUMRZBUTT address. He admitted to scamming me on the sale of this radio. Harry went on to state that he would refund the entire amount he owes me if I first deleted all comments about him on this thread. Once he saw all the comments deleted, he would then refund my money.
Ya, right........And I was born yesterday.
This thread is quickly approaching being read 2000 times. I will continue to warn other amateurs about Harry Solomon, KI4BSS until he makes the right decision. #How Harry can live with himself after being exposed for the thief he is on this & other Internet sites is beyond me.
