MON, SEP 19
**NY Giants at New Orleans ( Giants Stadium #) #this was supposed to be in NO so the Saints are the 'home' team. #Giants by 3
**Washington at Dallas - #Ah, the annual Cowboys - Redskins game. #Backup QB Mark Brunnell shows spark of younger days.
Hmmm - this week I'm picking 12 visiting teams (incl NY at NY) - #but I have to go by what the Psychic Pigskin tells me.
And your predictions are?

N.O. may be the "home team," but the game is opened to Giants season ticket holders, so the Giants have the home field advantage in all respects. #N.O. is certainly playing with heart though, so who knows?
I'm pulling for McNabb and T.O to stay on the page together. #That's my team and the Super Bowl still annoys me with the clock boo-boo. #I'm even more annoyed though by the fact that I was hospiltalised and that I missed the third and fourth quarters while they moved me from CCU to a regular floor. #Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Hockey season starts in three weeks, so after that football doesn't matter anyway. Go Flyers!
I'm mixed on the NO - NY game. I'd like to see the Giants win, but it's hard to root against the Saints. Just for the curious and Saints fans, ABC is starting it at 7:30PM EST then it switches to ESPN at 9:00PM EST.
Let's go <span style='color:darkgreen'>JETS</span>
<span style='color:darkred'>Hockey? Whuts that??</span>

How about the person with the worst record has to start the post for the next week and also announce the winner of the previous week?

Oh yeah, one more thing!
No editing your predictions after the first kickoff.

Agreed, editing after the first kickoff for ANY REASON should be immediate disqualification from the GRAND PRIZE. Now all we need is a GRAND PRIZE.
I also Agree.
No editing after first kick off.

I will have a big Orange "afro" with my face painted Orange with Black Bengal stripes. #Next to me will be a XYL pretending she doesn't know who I am! #http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
No, just kidding - looking forward to the game though!

Bill:
A Bengals fan? You're almost as masochistic as me, a 49ers fan. I think MY team stinks WAY more than yours...
At least I have CAL football. Going to Berkeley on Saturday to watch the Bears destroy Illinois!
Oh that's right. You have Ohio State. Damn Texans!

Dave - Yep, been a fan since they started. Went to both Super Bowls the Bengals were in, unfortunately they played one of the greatest teams of all time, the 49ers with Joe Montana and Jerry Rice.
The last 10 years the Bengals have been the worst team in the league but those days are over. We have a Great Coach now, a great offense with a superstar in the making in Carson Palmer, and an improved defense (I Hope http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif )!
Ohio State was a heartbreaker but OSU had their chances and didn't capitalize gainst a very good Texas team.

Too bad, but you're right. OSU had some big chances
Mack Brown and the Texas Longhorns are on my permanent "enemy" list (along with Notre Dame and U$C) after the BCS fiasco that deprived the world of a "natural" Rose Bowl matchup of Cal-Michigan.
My daughter STILL wouldn't have cared who won and STILL wouldn't have played in Michigan Band!

It's infectious! If she gets dragged to a game at the Big House, she might find that she likes it.
That's what happened to me. Of course, Michigan won at home in those days.

Well after a bad monday night, EFA, myself, and ADA all tie with 9 wins each.
When you really think about it, it was not a very good record. This is not picking against the point spread which is much more difficult than picking just the winner.
In conclusion, we all sucked last week! Out of 16 games we should have at least 12 correct.

Yes 9 wins is not very good, but lots of upsets. Who had the least wins and has to start the thread next week?
I only got 8 this week.
Told you I would probably suck this week. #Anyone get less then 8 ? #If not, I'l start the thread for this week.

I gave up on the Vikings at halftime and went away and played radio instead. My NVIS wasn't working on 75 meters, either. Got home in time to see the Brownies beat Green Bay. The 49ers got kicked in the head, and the Raiders are suffering from the ex-Viking factor this year, so they suck, too. I was going to root for the Lions, but they got murdered by DAH BEARS.
I sure hope the college teams I root for keep winning, or football will be a bust real early this year. Go Gophers! Go Cyclones!
