I have a slowly growing, but definately measureable bulge around my belly region. #I doubt that seizmologists would be interested. #However, if I ate mass quantities of beans and cabbage, it might hasten the flow of magma. #Please, let's not speak of eruptions. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Time to evacuation the local population. Cheer up, the FEMA gravy train is on it's way. Soon this will all just seem like a bad dream.

Growing up in Oregon, I often heard the phrase: Oregon, the pimple on the butt of the world.

Guess they were right. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

I did a paper on the Three Sisters area while I was at the U of Oregon. I printed it on my HeathZenith 5x7 dot matrix printer (with no lower case decenders) after using a CPM word processor on my Imsai 8080, but I can no longer remember the name of that processor.

How should I measure my age, geologically or astronomically?

If you're over the bulge, probably with a watch?

They know of a number of hot spots under the West Coast. They seem to be rising toward the surface from underground, especially in CA.

Maybe by the frequency of visits to the Dr. ??

OES:

Did you hear the one about the person who posted in a thread on QRZ.com that couldn't spell?

He spelled the name of the state "oregon" instead of "Oregon".

I would advise against taking any core samples to aid in the age calculation process. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

My suggestion would be carbon dating -- also appropriate for this Old Duck.
