It's strange sometimes what people can remember of past events and mention it on a non ham group. The thread is very good and ham radio is being applauded. We still have the recognition of other people.

The statement that got to me was "jammers of the police and emergency frequencies" . Are people doing that , really ? ? ? If that is really true, this whole "gang action" thing is scarier than I thought !
Like so many others, if I were being shot at when I tried to help in an emergency situation, I would be awfully reluctant to help any further, too !
