I would think it was coincidence. I figure they had the sell planned for awhile. Though I am just guessing.

I dont see a problem.
IMHO they are just letting folks KNOW that they have the equipment that some one may need.
Nothing else.

Or, perhaps, I am supposed to fall into some dark conspiracy theory. Could W be behind it? Maybe GigaParts, like Hotspur, called up those spirits from the vasty deep.
I doubt they would come.

The only thing I saw wrong is that they stamp out stuff for MARS, ARES, RACES and CAP but not REACT. WTF?

Umm...I'm thinking giga-parts is ham based radio and REACT is CB based radio. If you call and tell them that your doing the exact same emcomm work, (or whatever REACT does, I'm honestly ignorant of REACT) perhaps they would include it?

I am sure I noticed the Gigaparts ad before Katrina hit...not sure about REACT anywhere else..but the local group here is made up of mostly AR op's wich is why I am leaning towards them instead of the ARES group.
