Okay, I am 16 and limited to using and IC-2100H on 2 meters FM and packet.

I recently fixed up an old computer of mine that was just siting around (new hard drive, video card, etc), and am looking for a good OS to put on it.

I have downloaded several different Linux distros (www.linuxiso.org), and after trying them out, decided that either Linux Red Hat or SuSe Linux 9.1 would do the job.

I am looking now for amateur radio applications (especially sound card packet programs) that run on Red Hat or SuSe.

Does anyone know of a good source for any of these programs?

I would appreciate any help.

de Chris

Debian Linux comes with a whole bunch of Amateur Radio Apps.

Otherwise this site has quite a big selection on Amateur Radio Apps:

What's even cooler is that only a couple apps from that site have not worked with my Mac with X11R6 libs.
