Hello every one, I'm actually trying to find out what this origional oil painting of a dog we owned, i have theAmerican Kennel club attached as athenity, when she was born, we got her 6 wks after birth, i believe it was around Christmas, Dec 24th 1986, got her registered Mar 30th 1988 her name is Gidget, she was a very smart dog, could idinifie her toys by name only and bring them to you just by telling her to bring the toy by name, she kelp around 10 0r 12 all the time, in case you didn't know , these Pekingese dogs were once almost distince because the were carried around on silk pillows by their masters, and when the master dyed, the dog was sacrified and buried with it's master, that inspired me to have Gidget oil painted on a silk pillow by a well kown wild life artist named Glenn Robertson, his Studio and office was located at Malone Inn at the time, he did beautiful oil paintings of wild life as well as domestic animals. then about 3 yrs he was deceased, then about 3 months ago the whole lake malone inn was destroyed by fire, and i still don't know if his origional pictures were during the fire or had been moved some place else,i could have about the only origional oil painting on canvas, and i don't know for sure how to find out, he lived about 3 miles from the Inn on the same road going from Dunmore to lake Malone Inn, I would like every one to paqss this info around, this is a good place to place your listings, and i'm trying to get a fair estimate on this painting, an old saying about a pekingese is you may think you own one,,, but they own you or think so, would appreciate your feed back, and thanks for looking,73//Gene/N4AEP My ph # is 270-476-9845, and you can call any time fron=m 9AM to 12:30PM or e-mail me with a time to call you and your # and i will call you since i have un-limited long distance calling in the US, i think you can enlarge the pic inc. the reg certificate, thanks again, Gene
