I have a Comet SBB-7 antenna that's 4'7" tall. #It's too tall for my garage, and I don't want it taking too much abuse as I have just gotten back into the hobby. #It's a UHF (PL-259) base foldover 2M/70cm antenna, 5/8 on 2m and 3x 5/8 on 70cm. #Comet claims 4.5 and 7.2dBi gain. #It's in good shape, but does show some use and could stand a fresh coat of paint on the base. #Works great, it's just too darned long.

I'd like to find someone with a good quality, PL259-base dual or triband mobile whip who wants to swap. #I'm not interested in NMO or single band antennas, or anything longer than about 3-1/2 to 4' long. #I am looking to swap the whip only, I just bought a new Diamond mount I'm not planning to part with, though if you want to get rid of one I could stand to put one on my wife's van. #I'll consider straight swaps or swaps with a small amount of cash either way, depending on what you've got. #A Diamond NR770RA or HB, SG7500A or similar would be perfect, or a Comet SBB-5 or Z750 or similar. #I'm open to other suggestions as long as they meet the basic requirements.

So, let me know what you've got -- I'll swap a little gain for less garage door interference!
