It is probably not going very well because some of the old timers don't like cb'ers. That is why there is so much tension between the age groups because they believe that because they have been around for so long and know more people that that gives them the right to be inconcederate to the feelings of others. They forget that they were new hams once and have gotten this I AM GOD mentality. I heard a statement one time that i thought was kind of rude at the time but now i wonder. It was ( I will be glad when all the old timers go SK so that maybe there could be some harmony on the bands.). It did'nt make sense to me then but as time goes on it is starting to become a little clearer. I don't want anybody to think it is me wishing bad on anybody but it seems wrong for a few of them to think that they own part of the band and no one else can talk on it. I became a ham under the impression that the ham bands were open to all hams to use. It does'nt appear to be that way. At least i can say that cb'ers share there frequencies most of the time. They learn to adapt and overcome. Hams on the other hand want to fight about who owns what. This is just my opinion though and does'nt mean anything.

You're right. It doesn't mean anything.

It means even less when you start a thread on a topic which is already being discussed.
Why not just reply in the AMATEUR / CITIZEN BAND RADIO CLUBS thread?
