According to stats taken from Mark Yannone - Foregin Aid (http://www.yannone.org/oas.html), we, the US, pay the OAS of which ST. Kitts and Nevis are a member, about $54 million per year. So how is an island nation with very little wealth helping Cuba with monetary aid?

Is Tio Fidel going to accept it, despite a portion of it coming from us?

Hope so. Also hope we can find a way to get some peaceful relations with our neighbor.

I don't know what planet you fell off of, but the only way we'll EVER get "peaceful relations" with Cuba, is for Castro to finally kick off.

I don't condone or condemn what this country has done with Castro, but his hatred of the U.S. started VERY early, even before Kennedy, and we all know how THAT worked out.

That guy has affected rebel operations AROUND THE WORLD, all the way from Cenral and South America to Africa. You would not BELIEVE some of the operations he's gotten envolved in, while his people back home starve.

If someone had told me, in about 1960, when I was in junior high school, that he'd still be not only kickin, but IN POWER when I was nearly 60, I'd of said they were nuts. I don't know of any dictator that's managed to hold on like that guy.

I agree.... Castro should remain on DOUBLE SECRET PROBATION for life. He's a menace to himself and others.

It will be interesting to see what happens when he goes. I think there will be a major feud over the "thrown" among his surviving family.
