Article in today's L.A. Daily News: Job growth is here, and 6% average, exceeding even optimistic expectations:

In other news (same paper, today), the housing market is screaming and still appreciating in solid double digits. Everybody comes for the jobs, then has to buy someplace to live:

All we need now is free ice cream, and I'll vow to stay here forever. Oh yeah, antenna towers are allowed by ordinance, too.

At LAT 70N, you should be bathed in sunshine continuously about now, I'd think.

...and things are really going superbly. That is, if I can find the thermostat for the outside temperature, which someone seems to have cranked up to past 100 degrees lately. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

The Daily News writing is more colorful, and so are their photographs.
