Band is open to WA es NE at my location in NC., but no
one on except the Illegals. The A2 es V3 are fired up if anyone wants to try a QSO.

I just worked Fla. after calling CQ a few times on 10 SSB.
I'll tune up for the high portion and give a call on that freq on AM.

I can't count the number of times that the band has been open and I've sat on 28.030 and let my memory keyer run amok with repeated CQ messages.
No takers. Not uncommon when the conditions are the result of a solar minimum.
We're off for a quick bite to eat...when I get back to the radio room I'll fire the Drakes up and check out 10.

I talked to someone a couple weeks ago from mobile. Er, mobile as in car, not Alabama. You all knew that, right?
Wish that band was more often open, great mobile band. As it is, hard to justify throwing on the antenna & hope it's open... Usually end up listening to the cb'ers out of boredom.
