Hello,
My name is Brian/W5NL. I am the VP and trustee of the Sabine Valley Amateur Radio Association/K5GVL in Greenville TX. Our club is the skywarn group for Hunt County. We need to get our repeater on Echolink to communicate with the National Weather Service during severe weather as for we are out of RF range of the NWS office in Ft. Worth. Obtaining internet service at the repeater site is NOT an option so our only alternative is to RF link. We have everything in place EXCEPT for the link radios.
The club is seeking donations of 2 UHF/70CM transceivers, preferably commercial and programmable, that has an accessable COR logic from the back. Appearance is NOT important at all.
We have scoured Ebay and other sites and the items we found are well out of our means.
If anyone can help us out it would be greatly appreciated.
I can be contacted at w5nl@arrl.net
