View Full Version : Thanks!
I for one, should be passing this along from time to time, but Fred, thanks for the work that you do, the service you provide and the work the moderators do keeping this "kindergarten" in line! I wouldn't want the job anymore then being the trustee for a repeater!
Again, thanks for your efforts and hard work!
Remember, don't hesitate to put out a request for donations when you need help! Always glad to help again!

It's something else that they can put up with the likes of us week after week and month after month,,,365 days a Year...
I would have thrown in the towel a long time ago If I was running this thing. Wouldn't you?....

I am always honoured to be welcomed here as a guest. I like to think I behave as a well mannered guest and I am treated in kind.
When the day comes that I act ignorantly, I'm sure I'll be shown the door - as it should be.
To Fred and the staff here at qrz.com, a hearty thank you for all you do for us. And make no mistake, Fred gets a few $$$ from his advertising, but still, it's for US and we don't always deserve it. Let's work on that, shall we?

ABSOLUTELY! Many thanks to Fred for a fine site.
And patronize those advertisers too, folks! I just got my hat from callsignwear.com, and it's a quality product - I'm very happy with it. Now I'm fully prepared for swap meets and repeater group pizza parties. http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I moderate a bb myself and I must say that I would have gotten fed up with some treats long ago and maybe even banned a few guys, the mods here realy are patient.
Hats off.

Same here - I operated a dialup BBS for 11 years [ModeMANIA BBS, 1991-2002]. Granted, I never really had any behavioral problems from my users - almost entirely a circle of my personal friends - but I've been on boards where the sysop seemed to be completely absent, and they were a mess. Moderating a worldwide, web-based system like this can't be easy.
Do I HAVE to take off my hat...? http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I knew someone would get their panties in a wad as they don't know what the smiley faces are for.I along with the rest of you appreciate the site also, but some just have absolutely no sense of humor and that is a shame
I know I wouldn't want the "job" on running a website with a open forum such as this, any more then running a repeater. I imagine there are plenty of headaches associated with this activity. Thanks guys, we do certainly appreciate your efforts!!!

Fred, et al;
I am on this site constantly.
It provides some sanity to my day.
Scary, eh?
Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

As nice and useful as this site is, if you're finding sanity here, ummmm . . . have you spoken to your doctor about this?
Some of the stuff seen here is absolutely maddening. But I'm still glad to be a guest. Only thing is, I admit that I'm part of the insanity.

Ditto.
This site has provided a perfect adjunct to on air activity.
I appreciate it VERY much!
