I have heard of a large ant: that is like a huge webb that covers a large pice of ground, that is the best to build,I cant recall the name of it but have heard of it a few times, I no that this isnt a lot of info but if anyone has a idea please write, and if i forget--thank u--skip

of log periodic dipole array.
You can Google either "telerana" or LPDA for schematics and illustrations or photos.

Several types of antennas could qualify. It could be a herringbone (a sort of Beverage antenna) or even an H.F. discone..which not only covers a lot of ground, but a lot of sky as well. Log periodic wire antennas cover a lot of real estate too. As a general rule, bigger antennas work better all around, but you need to decide what you really want to do.
