After waiting weeks for this guy to send me a money order for $300 he owed me for a tower that I sold and delivered to him in Norman, Ok, I called him only to have him say he had sent the money order the same day the tower was delivered. #He said he would check with Homeland in Norman, Ok where he said he bought the money order and call me back. #He didn't call back. #I called him again and he said the money order had been cashed, but would check it out for me and call me back. #He didn't call back. #I called him again and he said he didn't want me to have to wait on my money, and promised to mail it to me. #It never came and he didn't call back. #I called him again and this time he promised he would send me a money order by certified mail that same day. #It didn't come and he didn't call me back. #I called him and he said Homeland was supposed to call me and ask some questions about the supposed missing money order. #They never called and neither did he. #I called Homeland in Norman, Ok and they had no knowledge of any person complaining about a "missing" money order. #I called him back and he became irrate and stated "I will not have my integrity questioned, I am going to send you a money order right now by certified mail!" #I never received a certified letter, he won't answer my phone calls or has my number blocked, and I cannot get him to pay me. #I will leave it up to anyone reading this to judge his so called "integrity." #I mailed him a letter today and told him to stick the $300 up his a** and all he accomplished was ripping off a disabled veteran. #Don't do business with this guy unless you get the money in your hand at the time of the transaction. #Oh one more thing, his claim that he bought a money order could have been confirmed by simply producing the receipt he stated he has. #But unforturnately, it just always seemed to be misplaced during my phone calls to him and I was told....... get ready....... "Don't worry, when I find it, I mail a copy of the money order to you today." #Of course, nothing ever came.

Not sure this guy deserves this follow up, but today after weeks of calling and hounding him, he finally sent the money order for the money owed. His story last week was the money order had been returned by the USPS, but the money order he sent me was dated April 4 instead of the first week of March when he claimed he originally purchased it and mailed it. I don't know whether to believe him or not, but have a feeling, if not for some pressure put on him by some of the local Hams, I would have never seen a dime of my money. It's a closed chapter as far as I concerned, but unfortunately, I won't be very trusting in the future. Too many lies and run arounds convinced me to get the money up front or in the hand before I part with anything else.
