Would you mind terribly putting a porn-warning on pages like this? I could get fired if I opened this page at work.

Well, you didn't have to click on the porn-ad links.

k4kyv, I work on a military base. They have someone who watches all day to see that none of our GIs are exposed to a mammary gland. They are obsessive about this.

I would be fired for opening this page. Despite the fact that I had no way of knowing what was there.

I know this sounds like a really RADICAL idea -- But how about NOT opening any links from here if you don't know what they are? I know that idea sounds CRAZY, but it just... might... work!

Sounds like the policy is really that your workplace computer, funded by taxpayers, is not for personal use. When I was in the Army back in the 60's, all military vehicles had "For official use only" conspicuously painted on both sides. How is a workplace computer any different from a workplace motor vehicle in that regard?

I have worked at places that you would get fired or at least reprimanded for looking at any website that was non work related. Plus any sort of email to anyone not at work or any email that was non work related got you in the same trouble. I never questioned the policy because after all it was thier computer and they were paying for the internet hookup.

We are allowed to browse during lunchtime (right now!), or before and after normal work hours. But we are not allowed to go to "naughty" sites. That's a reasonable policy.

I just have a real hard time with blaming someone for posting a link because YOU clicked on it. DON'T CLICK ON THE #%&!@+#*ing link!

And don't let 'em see this either: (*)(*)

HAW!!!

Out.

That sure was funny, but I'm glad I wasn't the one inside. I've seen some kids get drunk at Mardi Gras and push a one over while someone was in it. Needless to say, when that happens to you the party is over!!!

I think Congress should pass a law that would make Mondays illegal. That would make Garfield happy!

That would make about as much sense as passing a law that it is an hour later than it really is, and mandating that everyone set their clocks an hour ahead, forcing them to go to bed and get up an hour earlier every day.
