View Full Version : Buildup to the final Star Wars movie
I keep seeing more and more hype on the tube about the last Star Wars movie. I have to admit, it looks better to me than the previous two "prequels", but that's not saying much. I still prefer the original three.
I will see it, but I won't be first, or even 100th, in line. I'll wait a few weeks till the crowds thin out and then check it out.
What say ye?

Not really into it m'self, but the XYL loves this stuff. Might be time to take her to a movie!

Agree that I wasn't a fan of the first 2 as much as the original 3. To me, the prequels were too "kid friendly" and not enough classic good and evil and I really would rather have the Han Solo character rather than that stupid Jar Jar Binks running around....
That being said, the buildup to this is that it is much more violent, much more dark, and much more disturbing, and so, I look forward to seeing it! I'll probably catch it in the theatre at some point..

I'm going to go to the midnight showing with all the hardcore guys, the energy in that room is going to be awesome! I certainly wouldn't call myself a big fan but that will be amazing to watch with all the people who have waited decades for this film. It looks better than the last two as well.

As long as Jar Jar is dead and forgotten.
Seen all the others..suppose I will have to see this one as well..just to have the full set.

I'll be seeing it. Perhaps not the first showing on the opening day, but I'll be seeing it.
