Saw it on Slashdot first... but:

Toshiba Press Release (http://www.toshiba.co.jp/about/press/2005_03/pr2901.htm) is the link, but it basically says that it can recharge 80% of it's charge in 1 minute while only losing 1% total of it's charge capability over 1000 cycles. I wouldn't mind getting one for backup use in an emergency... only 1 minute charge... sheesh.

I would definitely pay extra to have that quick of a charge time on my computer. Heck, even my HT or cell phone.

Sure wish companies would wait till the product is available before announcing it, or wait until Friday to announce it.

Heck, I can really fast charge my batteries now, just have to get the XYL to crank a little faster---
