The reports of huge silent floating triangles in the night sky have been around for years. Just maybe it's our own TR-3B. (http://seekers.100megs6.com/UFOManTR-3B.htm)
Then again, maybe it's just UFO hooey. I don't know. I'd like to think it's ours.

amazing ! the ''tr-3b'' has 12 ports along the sides in some pictures and 15 in others !
could this possibly be some more digital art that someone is trying to pass off as real ?
nah, that couldn't happen ! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Speaking of KWW and his unlimited supply of URL's has anyone bothered to check the amount of tracking cookies your computer picks up going to these sites ??
You would be astounded at the trash they stuff into your computer each time you access one of these sites!!

Not to mention the data they report back as to where you have been!! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

KG4FOY,
You speak of Deacelleration Trauma, when I worked for NASA at the Ames Research facilities in Mt. View CA.
I was standing in front of the hanger having a smoke when I saw a C-130 come in on what looked like a normal approach. However upon the wheels touching down it came to a complete and total STOP,nothing special ,except it did it with in a distance of it's own length.
Turns out it was an experimental plane testing what they called boundry layer control, a form of STOL. What they were doing, and I gave it a close examination once it taxied up to the hanger. They had mounted 2 jet engines under the wing and they deflected the exaust to flow back over the wing to provide the extra lift.
I had just terminated my active duty with the Air Force a few years prior and knew what I saw could not be done,What A Surprise !!
They had some interesting A/C on that base, including several VTOL's both recept and jet aircraft. #It is odd to see a jet fighter type a/c make a low altitude approach down the runway then come to a complete stop 50 feet in the air ,rotate 90 degrees and then proceed up the taxi way to the hanger, stop and rotate then back into a parking place and lower to the ground from 50 feet in the air.
Too bad our youth are not interested in the Sciences,we may have to buy all our discoveries for India or China some day. #http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif #http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif #http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # # http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

Physical beauty is passing.
A transitory possession.
But beauty of the mind and richness of the spirit
and tenderness of the heart - and I have all of those things - aren't taken away but grow! Increase with the years! How strange that I should be called a destitute woman! When I have all of these treasures locked in my heart. ( choked sob )

EUY, I have several times, in places I won't name, watched a C-130 come in for STOL, reverse props, ram on brakes, then reverse props again to full pitch and be airborne, in a little over maybe 100 yards or so, from touchdown to wheels up. Once I watched one come to such a dead and sudden stop, that it pitched back so hard the nose wheel came off the ground. And as that wheel was off the ground, the pilot ran forward pitch to full, got off the brakes (gotta be two guys doing all this) and was rolling before the plane stopped its pitching. Amazing aircraft. It's smaller cousin, the C123, took some terrible abuse and just kept flying!
Note: My former brother-in-law was flight engineer on C-130s, and was involved in the development of the low-level drops, like two feet off the ground, and yanking tanks and weapons carriers out the back of the plane. Some of the research and test flying for that was done at Georgetown, Delaware, a very unlikely place. He was also involved in the STOLs "in-country" in 'Nam. We "did the town" there - and places like Ventianne - a few times, and after a couple of beers (or so) the subject of C-130s, C-123s, and C-47s, somehow always arose!
Black triangles are a creation of the media. What really happened was, in Phoenix, AZ, several years ago now, three odd lights were seen in the sky. They were in what appeared to be a triangular pattern. Someone, possibly at NBC News where the story broke, suggested it was a single object in the shape of a triangle, and so that person created a dark shape. But the actual observation was of the lights; there was no solid shape. Incidentally, I have both the original and the doctored photos on my computer.
(Somewhere!) That led to the idea that there were "black triangles."
The *other* kind of black triangle was actually the Stealth fighter, and it does exist. Different story entirely.
As to the Phoenix lights (as well as the famous Marfa lights) I think I'm going to post a story on my ham radio website about those! I've seen identical lights here. Ah, but I know what mine are! Shall I burst the UFO bubble? Well, maybe in a few days. But not right now!
Another infamous UFO incident in Mexico, in which silver balls were filmed flying through a flight of helicopters, caught a lot of attention back in the mid-90s. I guess I'll put that story on the web site, too.
We all have our realities, I guess!
My definitions of a UFO.
1. (And primary cause) Ordinary things seen under other than ordinary conditions.
2. Too much weed.
3. Too much Jim Beam
4. Hoaxes
5. Seeking to be important at *something* but not sure how to go about it.
6. Too much weed AND Jim Beam
and ...
7. Something you don't recognize, sizzling in the frying pan. Unidentified Frying Object

first of all if thing is so ultra top secret then how did these people get the pics and info? Don't they know they could be tried and shot as trators?
I think these things are UFO's brought here to Earth by tracking Radio transmissions sent out from out planet. There is life somewhere out there.
Besides UT's have not been trained on prep procedures for space dudes from other worlds yet. But, there will come a time, when they will be.

Hey there big guy,
I'm waiting. Tell me about those famous Marfa lights that were reported by Southern Pacific crews laying tracks through there over a 100 years ago.
I can't wait.

Quote[/b] ]This is the same shape that was seen by thousands floating over Phoenix in 1997 dubbed The Phoenix Lights.
we need to put an APRS tracker on it to see where they really come from.

One of the things that invariably catches my attention, when the media show "SHOCKING VIDEO OF A UFO LANDING!!!!" is how the flashing lights of the saucer, that can be seen through the misfocus of the camera, matches exactly what's available at your local autoparts store. In the 50's it was rotating beacons, nowadays it's high intensity LED arrays, LASERS, strobes, or flares. "Well, that's because we learn all that stuff from them." Yeah, right! http://www.qrz.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

The TR-3 I had would float around very well, nicely drifting through turns along country lanes, until you encountered a puddle of any size. Then, suddenly, the floating ceased. Everything ceased.

I spacemen,
If you see black triangles floating at night, are they really there? If you see PINK triangles, well, you may be in front of the Harvey Milk School in Manhattan NY. If you see a purple dinosaur, SHOOT IT!
I rather like those flying '56 Buick hubcaps in the B&W '50s and '60s movies. It was rather neat when Earth vs. The Flying Saucers was redone into Mars Attacks. ACK ACK ACK! (And a FRACK if you use packet.)
