I purchased this Icom W32A in July and followed the mods to the letter and removed the d523 diode as it said to do in order to expand the frequency rx/tx coverage. #However, it decreased. #I tried the reset by holding down band and sql and powering it on while holding it for 5, 10, 15, even a minute and no help. #The only coverage I have now is 430-440 and 144-146. #Can anyone help me. #It has been sitting in a drawer forever and I would like to start using it again since it is a new HT. #The SN is 502***. # I am not sure if that makes a difference. #Can anyone please help me?
