If you ever deal with these guys you will be very happy.
Item is usually received before you can get a check in the mail.

However, you won't be so happy when you ask for WB2JKJ's non-profit financial statement to be sent to you, as required by Federal law under 501C3 tax status.

A few of us have asked for this very report & we are still waiting...almost 4 weeks now!

Sounds like its' time for a IRS complaint or an audit?

Some of us have to work for our radios, others sell them "for the children" & have nothing to risk.

Isn't the title of this section "Ham to Ham References" ?
That means a callsign , doesn't it ?

I think this part of the forum is for individuals,
not businesses!

I've bought three items from WB2JKJ and have been very pleased. I would have no hesitation about buying again.

I agree with Tony and this is something that should have been done a long time ago. QRZ is for amateur operators, so a call sign should be a "MUST". Visitors should be able to read, but not post. Something to think about.

What's to think about SAM? When you get a website of your very own, you can put all the goofy rules you want to on it. People who create false nets to QRM others on 40 meters need to give their calls so Wile E can send them letters. I know you know about that yet you knock contesters?

QRZ is not an "amateur ONLY" site because Fred is an open minded individual who doesn't want to chase everyone off without a callsign, whether or not they have one to be listed. It's a personal choice. It's called the adult world, too bad you're only visiting SAM.

I don't know how many times we need to keep reminding you ID freaks, a callsign is not required on the internet, only on the radio every 10 minutes...

Makes one wonder about guys who get vanity calls to remember their names, or names to remember their calls...

I am going to have to talk with Mickey before you smoke another Ameritron & try to return it under warranty!

And if you had any brains, you would have figured out long ago I am K4RAF

RM, I'm going to do like the rest... just ignore your stupid posts. They are as bad as your "on the air" practices. If you want to keep bad mouthing me, come for a visit. Address good on qrz.

To those of you slamming Joe WB2JKJ, it seems you really have nothing better to do. #Joe is GREAT to do business with and you alway get at least what he says you will get if not better. #The gear that you see on here comes from other HAMS in the area that have asked Joe to post for them and any money Joe does make goes directly to the kids. #ex: #field trips, different tools {not supplied by the school, etc...} #Seems that those of you whining have nothing better to do, my guess is your the ones nobody will talk to on the radio so you figure you can vent here. #For those of you that like to whine, I will be more than happy to mail you a pacifier, and for those of you that don't have the heart to post their callsign, your no more than a glorified CBer.

I had just purchased a Kenwood HF rig, as well as an MC-50 mic from Joe. They were exactly as described and the price was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to deal with him again. I was so impressed with the rig, I even bought one of his WB2JKJ 22 CREW t-shirts to give him a little publicity in PA.

Im new to this forum, but seems to me like Joe has a pretty decent reputation, and does alot for the kids. #I dont know if he still has the QSL of the week award program going, but im sitting here looking at a nice certificate in my dads shack from January 19th-23rd of 1987. #Anyone who is not a flash in the pan and has been around for 15 years helping youngsters learn the joys of becoming a radio amateur gets all the respect in the world from me. #Im sure Joe has been around for alot longer than 15 yrs but thats all I can speak for using the QSL certificate as a starting point.

I am only 30 yrs old now, and in the last few years gotten back into amateur radio. #If it werent for people "like" Joe that are such wonderful promoters of our hobby I would have let my license expire. #For the glorified CB'ers out there, get a license its not a hard thing to do. #Back when I was 8 yrs old, my brother and uncle were attending novice classes being held by a great local ham K9SD, I being the type of child I was HAD to go along. That was my beginning as a radio amateur. By the next summer I had earned a general class license. Not tooting my own horn, but if a 9-10 yr old child can earn a general license, the least you can do is become a novice.

Sorry If I got off the subject a bit, I get that way alot lately hihi. #In closing... Joe I salute you for all you have done for the kids in NYC, If you had made a difference in one kids life in my eyes it would have all been worth while. #Im sure you have touched many many more and from the sounds of it all will continue.

Thanks,
Dan KA9SQR

As far as equipment goes, he is like any other individual selling gear, so act accordingly when doing business.

As to the manual sales, I won't buy manuals from him as he is violating copyright laws. I will purchase them legally from the manufacturers. Other then that, I don't see a big issue in dealing with him. I don't know his angles, issues or agendas, so it really doesn't matter much.

I do hope this is a mere aberration. JKJ has been around for ages, and was always considered a Titan when it came to ham clubs. I'd like to start one up here modeled on them.
