If any of you have done any modeling with SPICE or any of its variants....there is a graphical version called ICAP/4 (a freeware demo is available from Intusoft.com) that is just incredible. I'd be glad to give some tutorials on this forum. You don't need an EE degree to learn circuit modeling...but a few hours on this program, and you'll feel like you have one. You can learn a TON of stuff about electronic circuits with this. (Frankly, I don't know how they can afford to give this stuff away!)
I think every ham should know how to do some circuit (or antenna) modeling. This makes it a snap
