Hello,
I recently friend my yaesu ft 2600m by reversing the battery polarity, so instead of paying to get it fixed, I bought a ADI AR147+. My old radio was Mars/Cap modded and I modded my new radio for the mars/cap mod by cutting the red wire and insulating it as directed by mods.dk. I did the reset and my radio powered up great and works great as usual on the 2 meter band, but when I hooked up a dummy load and tried to transmit on 143.950, it still is blocked. I cut the right wire and reset it, but it still didnt unblock it. My radio works like normal, so nothing is broken, but i dont know what's wrong with the mod. Since it didnt work, I reconnected the wire and insulated it, so the radio is now unmodded. Has anyone ever delt with a ar 147+ and might be able to help me? Please post any advice that you can think of.

Thanks de kc9dam....73
P.S. in my 2 years of owning the yaesu, i've never used the extra frequencies, but I love the reassurance of knowing its there incase I ever need it like in an emergency.

Did you see 2 red wires? I seen on the mods that the non plus version shows there are 2 red wires? Maybe the plus version mod was a mistake?

Here at QRZ, the mods section has the same instructions for that model radio. It looks like what you did, but maybe the reset should be tried again. Either that, or ADI did a change to the model. In that case, a call to their support would help.

Good luck.
