I believe the reason for pulling the UN into the Tsumani relief is that most of the countries that were caught up in the Tsumani were Moslem countries. Yet the majority of the funding so far, to help has been from the Infindel Christian countries.

All those Rich oil Arab countries who are Moslem by Nature are doing nothing but sitting on their hands. Bringing the UN into the picture ,yes has some corrupt features, as it always has in the past, but it does open a door for putting pressure on the Moslem Countries to put up their share of caring for their people.

K6UEY you make a good point about the Moslem countries. #I really don't care about who gets the credit, whether it is the indivdual countries or the UN. #However I do not want to read 6 months or so from now that so many UN elitists managed enrich themselves at the expense of charitable caring people. #

Mike, I think we are in total agreement,history has shown just what a Greedy and Corrupt on an International scale the UN can be. The most recent the Kick Back profits from Hussien on the Oil for food program. Odd how the media simply let that subject just die away into the dark obis.Several people filled their pockets in that program.
