Fred, this is a fantastic idea, and I sure hope folks will post positives as well as negatives. Ever notice there's a complaint dept in every store, but no compliment dept? That needs to change. If someone does you right, go out of the way to tell his boss, the store manager, or to post it here so the rest of us know. It's a good thing - and it will help us all.
That said, I got some Motorola gear from Skipp May, WV6F a couple of months ago from rec.radio.swap. Great guy, great deal. The rigs are exactly what was promised, the price was good, and he threw in a few extra goodies besides. Best of all? He didn't hose me on shipping (a common money-maker on Ebay I've discovered.)
So if you see Skipp with something you want, email him with confidence. I'm glad I did.
